In this appeal process, the item database will manually review inventories to identify the most traded and potentially suspicious items. These items will then go through a validation system. However, keep in mind that the system will never remove your items—they will remain locked in your inventory throughout the entire process. The database will only access the transaction history of your items to validate them, but nothing else will be altered.
Also, just a reminder: if you attempt to cancel or disrupt the appeal process in any way, it will be considered a serious violation, and a penalty may be applied. This is how the validation works.
The reason this is structured as a trade offer is because the appeal process requires the system to evaluate items through specific trade mechanisms in order to ensure transparency and fairness. It’s the safest and most effective way to verify the details of your items without actually removing or altering anything in your inventory. The trade function simply locks the items for review and prevents any changes from occurring until the validation is complete.
The database is designed and programmed to check validity of the items. It will not receive any items from you after accepting and confirming. The items will not be accepted by the database since it was a verification only and not a trade. This is how it works
